Ahhh sleep.

It is a true necessity in a balanced healthy life.

So why is it that some have such a difficult time falling asleep and staying asleep?  That is the 32 billion dollar question!  That is the estimated amount of annual revenue that the sleep industry makes in the US alone.

There really is no single answer for this question.

But if you understand the process, it makes solving the problem much easier.

When we go to bed at night, we enter a cycle of sleep.  There are 4 stages of sleep which cycles every 90 minutes.  The first stage is the light stage, followed by deep sleep, then dream state.

Experts state that one should have at least 4 full cycles a day which is 360 minutes= 6 hours.
That is the minimum amount of sleep that is needed for the body and brain to reset.

One big problem is that when we set our alarms in the morning, we are sometimes awaken during a deep sleep or dream state.  In doing so, we wake and feel super tired.

You know what I’m talking about.  You wake up even after going to bed earlier than usual and wake up feeling exhausted.  That’s because you were woken up not during the light sleep stage.

This is a HUGE thing to understand.

If you can somehow know when to wake yourself up not at deep sleep or dream sleep.  You can wake up energized and ready to conquer the day, instead of feeling exhausted.

Lucky for us- there is a solution!

Some very smart people created an APP!

Yes I said it, an APP that will wake you up during your light sleep stage.

It is called the sleep cycle alarm clock
